Amanda's Upper Back Piece

Amanda asked me to design for her an upper back piece based on a bunch of print outs, art deco books and eloquent description. Wanting it specifically non-symmetrical was a particular odd request for this kind of piece and it was a little hard to wrap my brain around the idea. But we were to eventually come up with something. Here's the area she wanted to fill.

After about 15 minutes I finished the basic sketch.

The complete outline took me about 3 and a half hours to complete. After the lines have healed we will add color.

Amanda's project complete! This last session took about 2 and a half hours. I think it turned out pretty sweet. Congratulations Amanda, Enjoy your tat!
