Chris C.'s Back Piece

Chris was referred to me from a previous customer. Drove 6 hours to get this piece started. So I sketched it up on his back in about 15 minutes.

The line work took about 15 to 20 minutes...quick light lines.

This is where we found ourselves after 2 hours. This will be a color piece.

At the end of our first 3 hour session. A good start.

Chris was able to sit another 3 hours for me this session. Being he lives in CA he can only get here once a month to work on this. Remember this is also Chris' first tattoo!

You can see here how the grey shading looks healed in the dragon's head and fresh in the recent areas. Notice the redness, there's no actual color yet.

The first pic we got here is what a 6 hour blck and grey back piece can look like. But this isn't a black and grey piece, it's a color piece. So this is the session we start coloring! 3 hours later, tiger's done!

3 more hours and we have the fish completed. 12 hours so far.
