Rob's Arm

Rob had a couple crappy little home tattoos he wanted to cover up with a western diamondback that was in the process of giving him a nasty bite on the hand. Here's the sketch.


And heres the line work. This first session took me about an hour and a half with a smoke break.


Once the lines healed he returned to get the shading started. This session took about 2 and a half hours. Sorry about the blurriness of the photos, but you get the idea.


After a couple weeks we were able to start the coloring. As you can see there's a huge difference. The forward portion of the snake was completed in about an hour and 45 minutes.


Between the black and grey shading of the snake and the coloring, we found some time to whip out this shoulder piece.


Finally finished Rob's rattler. Congratulations Rob! Take care of that one.
